Probably the part where they are taking more than just the ones that looked dangerous enough that a dozen of them could hurt a fairy before being bisected. Hopefully this means that they are kidnapping for logistical purposes in addition to canon-fodder, and thus the net outcome is fewer broken families but vulnerable people being pressed into unhealthy environs. However, if one were to hear a chorus of scavenger insects so great that it can be heard a kilometre away, then one probably one would be happier not knowing the cause…
